IMASA develops for TERNIUM SIDERAR the engineering, manufacturing, supply, pre-assembly, assembly in site and placement of the wooden upper part of the quenching tower No.1 in the coke oven batteries of San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Argentina.
The quenching tower for coke fine particles capture, with resin filtering baffles, has a pine wood structure of 15 meters height. The tower has a water layer cleaning system with injection nozzles. The tower is completely manufactured in Spain. Once it is preassembled in workshop, it is partially dismantled an transported to site were it is assembled an placed in its final location.
