The Joint – Venture between COBRA Group and the engineering company SENER trust again in IMASA for the prefabrication and mechanical assembly of the piping and equipment of the thermo solar plants they are building in Andalucía
With the construction of the mentioned plants, IMASA will be the Spanish company with more experience in the assembly of power blocks for thermo solar plants in Spain: ANDASOL Uno and Dos in Granada, EXTRESOL Uno and Dos in Badajoz for the Joint Venture between COBRA and SENER, and both plants of SAMCA in Badajoz. Furthermore, IMASA is finishing with the mechanical assembly and thermal insulation of the central tower technology thermo solar plant in Andalucía – GEMASOLAR.For Valle Uno and Valle Dos projects, IMASA has also been awarded the thermal insulation of the salts storage tanks in a Joint Venture with the company KAEFER.
