IMASA has been awarded the project to revamp the ethylene ovens for the REPSOL refinery at Tarragona for the engineering company SELAS LINDE belonging to the German gas company LINDE.
IMASA is the main contractor on the project and is in charge of the detailed engineering, the supply, prefabrication and pipeline assembly as well as the entire pipeline disassembly required in the existing furnaces. Similarly, the scope of the detailed engineering by IMASA includes the supply, prefabrication and structure and equipment erection, including the required dismantling.
As the main contractor IMASA carries out the thermal insulation work and the electrical and instrumentation work.
