In thermosolar energy, IMASA has participated in Spain in the construction of over 200 MW in different plants with cylindrical parabolic collector technology. For the execution of these projects it can associate with other companies in order to undertake the full development of the Turnkey Project of the thermosolar plant.
MASA has carried out the prefabrication and mechanical assembly of the pipe and equipment systems as well as the thermal insulation of the power island. Various agreements have been reached for the execution of the salt tanks including the engineering.
IMASA has sufficient knowledge and experience for the design and execution of the salt storage system (engineering, supply and construction), the assembly of the structure and pipe work of the power island, insulation of the power island and assembly of the equipment. IMASA offers competitive solutions for clients so that they can ensure the return on their investment.
Similarly, IMASA participates in BIOCARBURANTES DE CASTILLA, S.A. (BIOCAST), one of the leading Spanish companies specialised in the production and commercialisation of biodiesel. Their specialised installations pay prime importance to the control of raw materials and the production processes to obtain a guaranteed quality final product.
For this purpose, they have a laboratory which carries out the most advanced analysis and controls so that the technical and environmental characteristics of the biodiesel generated reach the highest demands required and comply with the quality standards established.
n other sectors IMASA also participate in liquid manure treatment and purification plants which are associated to electrical co-generation plants.
